You stay where you are and I orchestrate this virtual cooking event from my kitchen. I have provided you with a shopping list under each receipt listed below and a budget of $4 for each of your “secret” ingredients.

1.  Once you check-in around 4:00 – 4:10 pm for the competition, I will walk you through meal preparation with techniques on everything from how to get things going to obstacles.

2.  Then, we start the clock, and YOU & YOUR “Covid Home Bubble” cook, while we have a SUPRISE guest lecture.

When we are all done, you must plate your creation and showcase it to the other virtual groups.

3.  Our guest speaker is Mrs. Pam MacConnell —  40+ years of senior-level marketing, sales and management experience, also positions in leadership, strategic planning and organizational skills.

Pam has provided: Inspirational Quotes for Women.  See how many ways you can incorporate them in 2021. Use them to count your blessings and empower others.

4.  Plate your dish! Give your pitch! Showoff your secret ingredient.

5.  Then, we all take a break to drink, chat, eat, and “count our blessing”.

6.  After the meal, I announce the winners.

  • Best plate
  • Best pitch
  • Best use of the $4 secret ingredients

Finally, show your gratitude and nominate your MVP in your Covid Home Bubble.

Dr. Jenneffer's Mouse Soup

By: Dr. Jenneffer Pulapaka of DeLand Foot and Leg Center, LLC

Learn how we made our Mouse Soup – Sweet Potato, Ginger, Tarragon Soup.

We used seasonal Florida summertime vegetables, but this recipe can be adapted for many tubers. Additionally, this soup is low-fat, #vegan,  and lactose-free. We used heart-healthy almond milk, instead of milk or heavy cream.

Cheers.
